The responsibilities attributed to the Board in its role of technical administration of CNI activities and coordinator of the Standing Thematic Committees are to:

•  Coordinate and steer CNI actions for the defense of its interests and provision of  CNI services;
•  Administer activities to support the Standing Thematic Committees, the National Forum of Industry and other consultative and counseling bodies related to CNI’s vision and purposes;
•  Propose policies, priorities and action strategies and ensure that they are effectively implemented;
•  Propose an annual plan and a multi-annual plan for the entity, including budgets;
•  Coordinate the development of CNI agendas;
•  Actively participate in the relevant corporate bodies and authorities within the Industry System itself.
