Alignment with the demands of Industry

Industry is fully aware that increasing productivity and the competitive edge of Brazilian products is directly related to the quality of professional training and qualification.

To that end, CNI takes responsibility for coordinating and integrating the activities of the Industry System, including SESI, SENAI and IEL, and supports all activities promoting excellence in professional training and qualification, in alignment with the demands of industry, throughout Brazil.

To foster the debate on education from the perspective of industry, CNI can count on the permanent efforts of the Standing Committee on Education (COED), a consultative body set up in May of 2008, which identifies and puts forward the production sector's views on the respective issues. Among the committee's other missions are: promoting quality in capacity building activities for workers to meet market challenges; identifying and supporting the dissemination of good educational practices; and recommending actions to foster education and development in the field of entrepreneurism.
