Adding Value through Knowledge
Essential to increasing productivity, the technological innovation leads to an expanded participation in internal and external markets and to the increase of global competitiveness. In a company, innovating is not restricted to carrying out research and development activities, it results from applying knowledge so as to aggregate value to operations. This happens when there are changes, not only in the production processes and methods but also in commercialization, management, logistics and business strategy - all factors that impact on competitive capacity.
To overcome this situation, CNI defends the position that action must be taken to accelerate the technological development of Brazilian industry with a focus on the country's growth. In the document “Innovate to Grow”, the Confederation supports the idea of capacity building for innovation in companies, encourages the introduction of a regulatory framework to foster industrial and technological development and stimulates the expansion of access to innovation mechanisms through funding and grants. |
