In addition to the keynote addresses, the Plenary will include three thematic panels:

Panel 1: “Prospects for U.S.-Brazil bilateral relations for the next four years”

This panel will address priorities and challenges for fostering closer relations between Brazil and the United States in the new administration, and will address both the private sector and government perspectives.  

Panel 2: “U.S.-Brazil Working Agenda: Accomplishments and next steps”

This panel will review the economic relations between Brazil and the United States in 2010, and identify potential bilateral trade and investment challenges facing U.S. and Brazilian entrepreneurs.

Panel 3: “Success cases and opportunities for expanding bilateral business ties”

This panel will look at companies that successfully expanded their activities and business ties in both markets. The panel will also address challenges facing companies as they try to maximize trade and investment opportunities.

About the Brazil-U.S. Business Council

Established in 1976, the Brazil-U.S. Business Council was created to foster understanding and advance business priorities between the United States and Brazil.
