This document, which was handed to the former President Lula, aims at contributing towards the resumption of private investments and the growth of the economy. In 2004, when it was produced, the government had just announced the guidelines of a new industrial policy focusing on competitiveness, innovation and insertion in international markets.
CNI proposes a permanent partnership between the private sector and the government in order to make the priorities set out in the Pro-Growth Agenda feasible. The aim is that they should act jointly on executing and monitoring the actions, always having in mind the country´s growth . The document also presents proposals to stimulate private investment and to develop initiatives that open up new economic prospects.
Pro-growth Agenda
