Brazil that Industry wishes for would be a competitive economy inserted in a knowledge society, basis for one of the world industry´s major platforms, innovative and capable of  growing in a sustainable manner, providing more and better jobs . Leading the way to growth, however, is not a task for the government alone. It requires the involvement of entrepreneurs and civil society. In that sense, CNI brings the public and private sectors close together, fostering a dialogue directed towards the country's interests.

Noted as it is for supplying all the agents of the Brazilian economy with reliable statistics and data, CNI produces documents and studies about industry and its immediate economic, social and political contexts   Always  dealing with the great national issues that may  influence   industry´s competitiveness, the Confederation has as its overriding goal  the country´s growth and its insertion into the globalized market.

In addition to specific studies, since 1994, CNI has also presented its views regarding the priorities in the country´s agenda for the next presidential term. By putting before society the political parties’ and presidential candidates’ concrete proposals to overcome national challenges, the Confederation collaborates in the pre-election debates and discussions and seeks to portray the economy and the society that everyone wishes for.
