With headquarters in Brasília, CNI is made up by a Board of Directors, Audit Committee and Council of Representatives with mandate of five years. Its structure also embodies Standing Thematic Committees formed by business leaders and representatives of federations and sectoral associations of industries.

CNI's technical team is under the coordination of the Executive Board. CNI also has corporate and shared sector.
