One of CNI's functions is to strengthen the coordinated performance of those bodies that are an integral part of the Industry System. That means exploiting synergies among CNI, the National Industrial Training Service (SENAI), the Social Service of Industry (SESI) and the Euvaldo Lodi Institute (IEL).
Being responsible for implementing excellence activities in professional training and qualification technological innovation, social responsibility, entrepreneurial qualification, and international insertion, the Industry System relies on a network of schools, laboratories and technology centers spread across the Brazilian territory. That is Industry playing its role as a transformation agent.

• SENAI: the largest professional training complex in Latin America, forming over 2 million Brazilian workers every year. It also provides support to companies qualifying human resources and providing assistance to the productive sector, laboratories; applied research and technology information.
• SESI: it is the administrator of social responsibility policies for the sector and promotes quality of life for workers in industry. It offers programs on education, promoting occupational and environment safety and health in the workplace, as well as recognizing the value of existing talents in the fields of sports, leisure and culture.
• IEL: it is the link between industry and academic world and has as purpose promoting sector´s growth by offering entrepreneurial qualification, perfecting administration and management and supporting for innovation. It develops organizational competences which are translated into competitiveness advantages essential for companies to meet the challenges imposed by the globalized market.
