The Brazilian National Confederation of Industry (CNI) carried out the 2nd EU-Brazil Business Summit, which took place in December 22nd 2008, in Rio de Janeiro. This initiative aimed at promoting a dialogue on the current business environment as well as on issues related to investments, infrastructure and energy.

The 2nd EU-Brazil Business Summit proposed a roundtable discussion among the EU and Brazil business and political leaders aiming at contributing to the Government´s efforts on promoting the EU-Brazil Strategic Partnership.

This event was promoted along with the 2nd EU-Brazil Summit and was carried out by CNI in cooperation with BUSINESSEUROPE, the Portuguese Industrial Association (AIP-CE) and the Confederation of Portuguese Industry (CIP), with the support of the Brazilian Government and the European Commission.
